I think Doom 3 sort of runs on a Voodoo 5500.

I remember Doom 3 was run on Voodo2 SLI back in the day.

I ran GTA Vice City, NFS Most Wanted for example, they ran quite well on V5. That was on Tualeron 1.2 overcloked to 133 Mhz FSB (1.6 GHz).

I remember romping around Mechwarrior 4 with a V5 using 3rd party drivers that emulated T&L commands. That was the pinnacle as I remember it. I'm currently in the process of building a Barton XP based W98 Voodoo gamer, my goal being to replay Independence War II in high res glory with the V5.

Indeed, i have finished gta vc an have mw4 installed which both are very playable on the vd5. Half Life 2 maybe?
Medal of honor aa, sh, bt. Also work fine, even on a vd2 sli. But anything newer than these games?

What about battlefield 2?

Maybe Mount&Blade? It works on DX7 level cards (needs a fast CPU though)

T&L can be emulated by CPU, even if explicitly specified in game requirement.

I have gotten Halo Combat evolved to run on my voodoo 5, but not without glitches (maybe thats why the game standard denies running on this card)
On 800x600 max detail, the fps varies from 120fps to 20 with explosions.
You have got to have the 1.07 driver installed together with an edited version of the games config.txt.

Very different compared to my own experience, looking at the 3dfx card comparisons. Wondering what kind of drivers you have used.
