What is the oldest detonator driver that will work on Geforce 3? Like what was the first driver for Geforce 3?
I suppose the old drivers can be modified easily?
Like running a Geforce 3 on driver 7.68 but works because of a few files copied over? 😊
What are you trying to accomplish?
Geforce3 original or TI
Its for world record 3d Mark 2000 using K6 cpu.
I am struggling to find GF2 Ultra 🙁 The one I could have gotten my hands on was dead.
So whatever card that can work with drivers that was optimized for K6
If I can mod drivers for a Ti500 it could be nice.
Wish I had more money to play with.
Another motherboard that can OC better could also help :p
Well, I don't know what's the oldest version that works, but I can confirm version 7.76 was working with my GF3 Ti200 after the file "NVAGP.INF" modification.

I am using 7.58 at the moment
Open the file "NVAGP.INF"
Look for [Mfg] and add this
[Mfg]
%NVIDIA&DEV_0200.DeviceDesc% = NV20,, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0200
%NVIDIA&DEV_0201.DeviceDesc% = NV20,, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0201
%NVIDIA&DEV_0202.DeviceDesc% = NV20,, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0202
Look for [Strings] and add this
[Strings]
NVIDIA&DEV_0200.DeviceDesc="NVIDIA GeForce3"
NVIDIA&DEV_0201.DeviceDesc="NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200"
NVIDIA&DEV_0202.DeviceDesc="NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 500"
The plain GeForce3 should be in there already.

I ran a GF3 for many years. The oldest files I have are 45.33_xp.zip and 4523_Win9x.exe.
Is this too much voodoo?
