First post eh?
I got a HM86304 ISA video card with 256KB RAM on it. It works on a 286 system and P5A-B, but not on contaq-386 or GA-5SMM. The computer boots and can finish POST, but freezes right after that. On the contaq-386 board it also freezes when toggling in the BIOS's standard setting panel, but OK in other panels.
Any ideas?

If it look like this http://vgamuseum.ru/gpu/hmc/hualon-microelectronics-hm86304/

Try reseating all the removable ic's, also clean the contacts. Make sure the jumpers are set to the amount of memory installed.
That's about all the ideas I have.

Atari 2600, TI994a, Vic20, c64, ZX Spectrum 128, Amstrad CPC464, Atari 65XE, Commodore Plus/4, Amiga 500
PC's from XT 8088, 486, Pentium MMX, K6, Athlon, P3, P4, 775, to current Ryzen 5600x.

Thanks. It looks exactly like that.
I tried reseating the BIOS and RAMDAC, changing ISA slots, taking jumper on/off JP2 (which controls IRQ9), changing ISA bus frequency, but with no luck.
