Hello
Tomorrow is the annual bring free waste day(at my location).
So should I keep or not the MSI NX6800-TD128 AGP that is missing 9pcs of small SMDs (teared off) ? -> Creates artifacts therefore.

I have no solder kits+magnifiers+skills+SMDs to solder it to working condition(=no artifacts) and probably never will.
So would it be usable in future or should I trash it ? ( It is not the better GT-version )
I think the card works even in older Win98 systems\drivers if fixed.
Or
Can I get replacement SMDs out of the broken NX6800 for newer graphic cards if needed ?

Is there a real need for these kind of cards in old computers ?

Regular 6800s are usually easy to obtain and there's no guarantee that fixing SMDs will help your card.

Ok I probably dump it. How ever if never fixed can I use these SMDs on other cards as spare parts ? Or are these SMDs card specific ? How likely would I need these SMDs in future ?
Yes it is just a basic 6800.
