Does anyone know where I could source some good ram chips for a Voodoo5500 ? Seems one of them went bad on my card and I would like to replace it.

GeForce2 MX cards are dirt cheap still. They come with 6ns or faster SDRAM.

Turns out the ram isn't bad, my 2001FP has some weird sync issue, kinda angry since I just bought that monitor... oh well.

Check out the caps inside it.
Most models with that panel suffer from bad caps =/

It's odd, and intermittent. It was supposed to be refurbished, it has no dead pixels and looks great otherwise. Just the left side sometimes has weird issues and ghosting from the previous boot, so I figured it was a ram issue.

thats usually bad panel, also a slim chance of loosened tcon ribbon
