I just ordered a Quadro fx3000 from ebay and i always want to get another newer better cooler for my graphics cards.

Any advice on what i should get?

I got an Zalman VF700-CU on my GF4 ti4600, would that fit on the Quadro fx3000?

Thanks!

The VF-700 is compatible with the Geforce FX series. The Quadro uses the same cooler as a FX 5900. I'm not sure the default ram heat sinks will fit but you can just remove them. The ram doesn't get overly hot, just needs a little bit of airflow (which the Zalman will provide).

Honestly i cant think of any other 3rd party coolers (except zalman) from back when these cards were sold.

Arctic cooling had a very successful line of blower style coolers.
The NV Silencer 4 Rev. 2 should fit the Quadro FX3000 and is an excellent upgrade as it's quiet, keeps the chips cool and exhausts the warm air from the case.
Titan also made a couple of nice coolers iirc.
Revoltec had after market coolers as well but from what i remember they weren't too good.
