I have a couple of ET4000AX ISA cards. I saw a couple posts on benchmarking old ISA SVGA cards:

This got me wondering how fast one would be in my Shuttle Hot-597 with a K6-III 600Mhz. I clocked the ISA bus to 11.1 Mhz and enabled Write Combining from A000-BFFF. The first article mentioned using a K5-133 on a GA-586HX also running the ISA bus at 11.1 Mhz. Their result using 3DBench was 55.5 FPS on a Diamond SpeedStar. I have an older CardExpert ET4000AX and it got 75 FPS. What surprised me was when I used my Micro-Labs Ultimate VGA/TrueColor ET4000AX. That card scored 110.1 FPS. I did not think an ISA card even running on an overclock ISA bus could go that fast. That card was produced around 1998 and as far as I know was the last run of ET4000AX ISA cards made. Could be due to the fact it had 60ns memory vs 70ns on the CardExpert ET4000AX.
