Awesome work. A true trash to treasure. The DIP socket of the lowest RAM chip looks broken though. And I personally would cover everything in flux and reflow, to remove any corrosion.

It's for rubberducking, of course.

Exactly. I was surprised to see it in the camera as well 😀
Maybe some shutter speed to refresh rate issue.

I tried cleaning the pins and even sand it a bit.
Now when I try to read the content of the chip I get different data each time I dump it.
I think that this chip is done for...
Then not everything is lost 😉
You should see a string at the beginning, in Keropis dump its "Uª ëQNEL INTERNATIONAL 1988 IBM EGA COMPATIBLE BIOS V6.04 11/14/88"
Can you already see something there?

No. There are no readable ASCII strings as far as I can tell.
Does this ROM contain character sets? I can understand the desire to salvage it if so, since it may have Hebrew characters.
Otherwise, I'm happy with the ROM keropi provided.
I don't think that there are localized EGA ROM fonts, because the EGA text mode font can be changed in software, anyway.
