In regards to my previous post asking about other graphics card:

GeForce 6200 PCI for Win9X / ME gaming? (DOS / Win9X / ME Games)

is Savage IX: Any good for DOS / Win9X gaming?

The card in my possession has TV out function as well.

Thanks in advance!

It can, but late Savage cards have certain problems with DOS games.

Comparable to Rage Pro 128, or TNT2, or any GeForce?

You can't expect too much from laptop graphics chip working on tight TDP budget.

Savage IX will perform like Savage3D 😀

At low resolutions it will. And IIRC it does not support S3TC .

I just found a screenshot from Quake3 driver info, Savage IX support "GL_S3_s3tc" extension. So it support S3TC in OpenGL?
