Hi chaps, I'm trying to get my 'new' Win 98SE P200MMX, 256MB EDO RAM, GeForce2 MX200 to run 3DMark 99.

Dxdiag passes everything and runs all the tests successfully but on the Display tab says Not Available for the three DirectX Features. When I run 3DMark 99 it says I don't have a DirectX 6.0 compatible graphics card.

I'm running 98SE, DirectX 8a and Nvidia Forceware 81.98 drivers. It's a Supermicro P5-XTRA 430HX board.

Anyone know what I need to do?

Modern PC: i7-9700KF, 16GB memory, RTX 3060. Proper PC: Pentium 200 MMX, 128MB EDO memory, GeForce2 MX(200).

I may be wrong about this, but 81.98 was designed around Directx 9 and maybe it needs it (even if your card is DirectX 7 generation).

Either way, 81.98 is likely not optimal for such an old card, I suggest trying an older driver first .

you should try 45.23 at first and go back into older versions, nvidia drivers are optimized better for the current processors in the date of launch, ideally you should use the first driver that supports that gpu, or one a little bit newer.
