Need some help getting my es1868 sound card working on dos 6.22, my MB is a VL/I-486SV2GX4 REV 2.1

I tried using the driver installer from phils computer lab but I keep getting a message saying es1868 not found.

https://www.philscomputerlab.com/ess-audiodrive-es1868.html

I looked around in bios setting and can't find any setting for sound.

I am not very dos savvy as of yet so it maybe a simple solution.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Alternatively, you can try UNISOUND to see if the sound card can get initialized.

VIA C3 Nehemiah 1.2A @ 1.46 GHz | ASUS P2-99 | 256 MB PC133 SDRAM | GeForce3 Ti 200 64 MB | Voodoo2 12 MB | SBLive! | AWE64 | SBPro2 | GUS

Thanks I'll take a look at that tonight.
I just wonder if it isn't a issue apart from drivers since the drivers can't see the card. I would have thought there would be a bios setting or something but I can't find anything in the bios.
