Hello,

I was reading about the solutions that Matrox still did in the video cards sector up to the last decade but what really surprised me is that the modern drivers support still cover even WDDM x64 modern o.s. at least Win 8 I think for the G550 (!) based cards. I see that both a usable PCI and PCI-E x1 version of that card existed and I almost forgot about. How would they perform into a more modern o.s. than this chip was created for? Do the drivers actually used the chip for any GUI acceleration or Direct3D/OpenGL retrogame possibilities?
And about the last series like M, P or C series video cards how would they perform into a home computer config beside its professional target?
Thanks
