Hey guys, got recommended a card for my Windows 98 machine that I realized I already had, but it's in my Pentium 4 Northwood (Windows XP) Machine, so now I need a recommendation for a video card for my Dell Dimension 4400 running Windows XP. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Dell Dimension 4400
CPU: Pentium 4 2.8 GHz FSB 400 MHz
GPU: AGP ????
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live!

Geforce 6600/6800 or ATi x850/1950? Or maybe a Geforce 4 ti/ Geforce fx 5700+, 9600 or 9800.

Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1

Well guys, I was able to source an ATi Radeon 9600XT for $30 on ebay, should work well enough for my needs, also the slot on this one is only up to AGP 4x from the information I have seen.

Main Computer: Custom - Intel 12900K, Asus Nvidia 3080 Ti, 64 GB DDR5.

Lol, it may be for up to 4x but ANY AGP card that is 8x will work in it without any problems.

Many 3Dfx and Pentium III-S stuff.

Excellent choice, I was about to recommend one. The R9600 Pro/XT is a well balanced price/performance card for Win98.
