Hi,

I haven't been able to find an answer to this- hoping someone here can help!

On my retro XP/EAX build, I've got a 780ti, and I want to unleash it on my 2k monitor or 4k tv for some EAX Battlefront 2 and KOTOR goodness. The problem is that both the 2k monitor and 4k tv XP recognizes as a "TV", and offers a maximum output resolution of 1080p. (In the system's other OS, W7, no problem outputting in 2k/4k).

Any ideas as to whether/how I can configure XP to allow me to output in 2k or 4k? Is there a generic monitor driver file to manually configure or something (like I vaguely remember from 98se)?

My monitor is a 2020 model and unsurprisingly doesn't have XP support.

Thanks!

Re: Adventures in Windows XP Ultrawide

although that thread says use 355.xx drivers I read elsewhere that 347.88 worked.

Thanks that definitely helps- I never even tried DP- just kept thinking about the 1.4 hdmi, which was an oversight. I'm on 368.81, the most recent XP x86 drivers- hopefully I can get them to work, and if not I'll try rolling back.
