I've attempted to swap out my PCI 6200 for AGP mx440 and ti4200 cards (two of each) and while all seem to support nview/desktop acceleration, direct3d fails for all but the pci 6200.

3dmark reports "needs a 3d-accellerator that is capable of using textures."

dxdiag 3d test fails with

"Failure at step 11 (Creating flipping fprimary surface with one back buffer): HRESULT = 0x88760028 (unknown error)"

Switching back to Pci 6200 works fine.

This is currently with 77.72 nvidia drivers, fresh install every time I swapped to AGP from PCI.
