Been messing around with my ideal 98 machine. I wanted to run HDMI video out from it via the DVI port to a modern 1080p monitor. To keep things 4:3 I was thinking i'd output 1440×1080 but my 98 machine skips over that. I can do full fat 1080p but not 1440×1080. It's just not listed in display manager. Does anyone have insight on what the issue could be?

You need to add custom resolution via PowerStrip/driver, as 1440x1080 isn't a VESA/"standard" resolution. Don't forget to disable scaling (or force GPU to scale).

So, I been playing with PowerStrip for a while now but can't seem to get any of my custom resolutions to go into effect. I was following this video on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BVVEFYB2wU but he kinda speeds over adding a resolution. Do you happen to know if a guide I could follow?
