I'm working on a 'spiritual' successor for MCE2VGA.
MCE2VGA is no longer feasible due to sky rocket prices and
unavailability of the needed FPGA / FPGA daughterboard.
I started designing a new sturdy video converter,
that should be able to convert MDA/CGA/EGA to HDMI, using CM4 compute module,
and hopefully can be compatible with hoglets RGBtoHDMI software (maybe with minimal changes).
It will be in a robust, 'industrial' form factor : "RGBtoHDMI Pro"
See screenshots of PCB design :
I will be prototyping soon, if i can find all needed parts..
Also for this PCB it seems hard to source all needed parts,
i still have a few CM4 modules and the needed connector for the prototypes at least.
If someone want to help test, and has a large collection of cga/ega/mda cards and RGBto HDMI experience,
feel free to PM me.
