Hi,

How do I tell who the vendor (Diamond, Miro etc...) is for a VLB board that has a S3 86C805-P chip on it?
Phoenix BIOS 5128515C.
FCC ID# KC7-S3805

I am looking for the Win 3.11 driver.

EDIT: I did do a search on this forum and there were people talking about the card, but not who the vendor was, and hence what driver to use.

NOTE: My card is the same (IC's in the same position) as the attached picture.

Regards,
Craig

In general it is better to use vendor driver. That FCC id lead to obscure company "Full Yes Industrial Corp" - https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/KC7-S3805/

Many branded card drivers will refuse to install without having original BIOS.

You should be able to use generic "S3 Flat Model Windows Driver" which you should easily find on archive sites.
