Hey guys! just curious will this monitor https://www.newegg.ca/asus-90lm06h5-b013b0-27 … N82E16824281125 be compatible with my hd 7970 matrix platinum (overclocked to 1300mhz on air) via displayport on windows xp? i am using catalyst drivers 14.4 (2014) as they are the latest drivers available for windozer xp.

Ok what I mean is will it work at all with my setup? I noticed some new lenovo monitors say win 7/10 only but I am wondering if that is only if you use the included software.

It has HDMI, vga and a Display port.
HD7970 has display port and or HDMI.
Hence it is compatible.
As in: you plug the cable into the graphics card and into the monitor and it will work just fine.

Builds:

Xp3000+ gf3 ti200 + vd2 SLI 12MB + 768MB + SB live @ WinXP & 98 Dualboot.

P2 350mhz + Diamond Viper V550 + 3Dfx Voodoo 2 12MB + AWE64 + 128MB SDR @ msdos / win98.

Practically all 7970 have DVI-I, so VGA is an option too.

Got this one instead. Regular price $359 got it for $233. Hope it works with xp! Bought the FURUI 16k display port cable to use with my 7970.

I run a Sapphire 7970 on an AOC Q27T1 via DisplayPort under Windows XP. Works perfectly fine and GPU scaling handles resolutions not natively supported by the display.

Yeah. i can confirm for anyone else thinking about buying the monitor it does work with the included display port cable at 144hz. Simply uncheck ''hide modes this monitor cannot display.'' 60hz, 75hz, 100hz, 120hz, 144hz all work. still waiting for my other FURUI cable though. already got a refund on it through amazon.
