Ive been wondering if theres any information about ATI and 3Dnow support in their drivers ?
Theres lots of info for 3DFX and Nvidia but i cant find much about it for ATI other than mention that they would support it after Nvidia released their 3DNow drivers for the Riva TNT.
For the Radeon 7000 series lots of people seem to use the 4.x Catalyst drivers, which are quite mature, and some even use as new as 6.2 (all Win9x) .
A lot of the time with ATI newer the better. Personally i use 4.3 due to its good game compatibility but I wonder if with the later drivers 3DNOW was removed or phased out since by the late 2000s 3DNow support was already dwindling.
