I started to play around with 3DMark99 after a really long time, I noticed the benchmark gives me different score every time??
I don't remember from more than twenty years ago was this normal behavior for the benchmark?
My system is P3 800MHz/TNT2 Ultra/256mb/Win98SE
If the differences are small, it is within the margin of error which is normal.

Scores varies between ~7000-7500
I assume those scores were collected at the same time (same room temperature etc)? If not, time for a do over. Also, drop the first result you get, from when your components are still cold in the beginning. Are you still seeing as much variance then?
Actually they were not collected at the same time, I need to try once more. Could temperature effect so much? (Clocks remaind the same regardless the temp?)
