GeForce2 MX vs Geforce4 MX440?

So i was using a GF2MX on my Pentium 3 1ghz computer and swapped it with a passively cooled XFX MX440 64mb AGPx8 thinking it would be much better but i only went from 4800 to 5200 in 3Dmark2000.
Gaming performance also looks about the same.
Is that accurate performance of the MX440?
I checked and it has a 64bit memory bus using DDR, would that be an issue? Not sure what bus the GF2 MX is using.

Yes, GF4MX with 64-bit memory bus is only marginally better than normal GeForce 2 MX 400. Especially in 16-bit color modes.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
