Bricked usually means unrepairable...but it sounds like you got it working, which is great. This is why I suggested you use the fake flash tool for testing, you could have avoided swapping to another GPU and changing mobo bios settings. That 3500 upgrade sure is nice though. Good luck with your youtube videos, I watched a few and they were pretty fun.

Ah, alright, didnt know about the definition. ^^
Yeah, luckily I had everything lieing around so that was more of a shock than an actual problem.
Hope to make a video about my hardware as well at some point, but will not be that "in depth".

I'm generally used to that term meaning borked firmware, that completely prevents the device from its usual operation (or the ability to execute the firmware and have the card work before the OS is loaded in the BIOS).
Doesn't mean unfixable, but the firmware needs to be fixed before it'll work (which for some devices can be an issue if you can't power it up for flashing, and getting to the ROM/Flash chip is difficult).
