I'm playing Blood and I'm seeing some slightly weird behavior with different VESA modes, so I wanted to clear up a few things I'm not sure I understand. I'm asking these questions from the context that I can create my own resolutions (or choose them) to be available to my monitor. I'm using a CRT with the ability to sync to pretty much anything, so that's not an issue.
-In 800x600, which mode is Blood going to be using? This site lists different timings, and some of them are SVGA and some of them are VESA. Blood's setup says they are VESA modes, so does that mean I should only use those?
-This website also lists 800x600 at 85Hz as SXGA which seems to be different from the rest of the internet (I am only finding that SXGA is 1280x1024). It also says it is mode 102/103, which I can't seem to find a list of video modes that explains that. Is there one?
