Yup thats an 8 MB voodoo card, not 12.

I really wanted 12 MB version. Not sure what to do with it now. I can return it to the seller and get my money back or sell it by myself. What do you recommend? I bought it pretty cheaply considering current prices and I think think I should be able to sell it for more. I paid for it 272 PLN + 10.95 PLN postage = 282.95 PLN total (it's like 67.93 USD + 2.73 USD postage = 70.66 USD total). What do you guys think? Could I sell it for more?

Worth pointing out that while that may be the case with the Creative cards, it's not always true about all of them. For example, the STB BlackMagic 12MB cards only have memory chips on the front side.

If you're patient then see if you can sell it for a bit more and put that towards a 12MB card 😀

Try to mod it to add the rmaining 4 megs of memory yourself

Adding the remaining chips is pretty simple.

I did this myself to my pair of 8MB cards as I got a good deal on them at the time (half the cost of a similar matched pair of 12MB cards).

A Voodoo 2 with 8mb is better than no Voodoo 2! The 12mb version for most games doesn't make much difference, and for the games it does, a Voodoo 3 does a better job anyway.

I would enjoy it! If you pickup another 12mb version later you can sell this one.
