So I got Rebel Assault I to run from the CD (rebel.exe didn't work so rebel2.exe did the trick). Game seems to run fine except for one thing: the game always starts a little off the screen to the left. Is there any way to modify / improve this?
Your monitor and/or video card drivers should have something that lets you reposition the screen. Are you using a CRT or a flatscreen?
Also, why is this in the DOS forum? (Does the game work properly if you restart in MS-DOS mode?)

I'm using a flatscreen with nVidia ForceWare 77.72 drivers. It's weird - the regular desktop and MS-DOS prompt look great, it's just the game itself.
You see, I'm thinking that anything running at the resolution the game is trying to use will have the same problem. (Offhand, I don't know what that resolution is.)
