So I have recently begun playing the original F-19 on a 486 DX/2.
When I was kid and first played this game it was on a 8086 and slow as hell but I still loved it.
When the family upgraded the computer eventually to a 486 I noticed that when I played this game that most of the missiles that
I fired would miss! I mean occasionally a shot will not hit its target but this was with about a 95% miss rate making the game pretty much
unplayable...
Fast forward to the other night and I tried to play the game on an identical processor and the same thing happens!

I was wondering if any of you who played this classic remember this or noticed it?
On the packaging the highest processor mentioned is a 386 so I was wondering if the game was not designed for such a fast
processor at the time and it screws up some calculations in the game or something?

Thanks

I played the updated version F-117 Stealth Fighter on a 386-16 and it was fine
try a slomo util (like moslow) or disable the cache in the bios
