I have the collection and i was installing the game and it promted me to type a command

I opened the ms-dos prompt and it didn't work at all. So i decided to just open click the .exe file and open the game that way and it works but now there is no sound whatsoever except little crackling noises when my characters were attacking the gargoyles. Can someone help me configure this correctly to run?
