Hi everyone, I'm playing Les Manley Search for the King. I'm at the part where Les hitchhikes on a bus to a place called The Kingdom but when it shows an animation of the bus in map view heading to the kingdom, the game goes black and a number 51 shows up at the top left hand corner of the screen and the game crashes back to DOS. Anyone know why this is?

Did you try the game using DOSBox 0.65?

Yes I did but it crashed. I heard from somewhere that there is a bug in all copies of this game regardless of what you use to play the game.

I completed the game 15 years ago on a 386 I believe, so I know it was playable all the way though on a real DOS machine. I also played the other Les Manley game, Lost in LA.

That's the cracked version that is found all over the internet. One of the game files is corrupted. It has nothing to do with DOSBox. The proper version plays just fine.
