In VGA mode 6 of Virtual PC running DOS 6.22, the screen got torn up into 2 parts. I've tested the video mode and am certain that mode won't work. Someone suggested to use UniVBE, and I've tried that too, still didn't work, any ideas how to fix this problem. I know DOSBox works really well for this, I just want to play around with Virtual PC (Win7), please help.

try loading ansi.sys from config.sys
and set it to mode 18 640 x 480 color (16-color graphics)
see if that works

Tried both, no good.
Have tried to switch to mode 18, the screen went blank

have you tried any vga games try the duke3d and quake demo's
