I found references, screenshots and links to a Galactic Conquest version by J2 (J squared?) computing software, trying to remake the C64 version.

Does anyone know more about this, or happen to have a copy? I'm trying to track it down, and thought I'd start asking here, though I'll consider a thread rez over there, too, of course. I loved the Rick Raddaz 1987 version discussed here: http://www.galcon.com/classic/history.html and this version looked interesting to check out, especially if there really is a working '09 remake - I'm not sure what the date on the above really means, '93 or '09, etc.
