Hi all,
Is this possible? I am trying to run these older games on my real retro PC game system, and although I have been able to run some Sierra games with MUNT, emulating MT-32, it would be best if I could run then on ScummVM instead. (no DosBOX for me at this time! 😀

Thanks for letting me know!

My system:

- PIII-800E
- Abit BH-6
- 256MB SD-RAM PC100
- AWE64 Gold
- Sound Canvas 55 MKII
- SoftMPU
- Windows 98SE (but I am using PhilComputerLabs', *pure* DOS option to play the launch the game from a DOS prompt)

UPDATE:
OK, on my Windows 7 (x64) system, I was able to create a virtual port on LoopMIDI and have MUNT detect it. Then launched ScummVM, and chose the LoopMIDI port, and it seems to work on the Flight of the Amazon Queen.

The problem is that I am trying to achieve this on mt Wib98SE machine!

Help!

I'm confused - ScummVM's built-in MT-32 emulator is basically MUNT, so why are you not just using that?

OK, I will give it a try, but I am sure when I selected it, games still played back OPL music.

UPDATE:

Apparently I had to find, and then copy ROM files into the ScummVM installtion folder!

Of course you have to, as with any installation of MUNT (same thing applies for DOSBox-ECE for example).
