I've recently returned to playing around in DOS and found my 32gb fat32 usb drive to work flawless in DOS (usbaspi/nj32disk) but here's the weird thing every other flash drive I have 16gb or 32 shows as only 128mb. I've tried several formatting options in windows/DOS/and Linux even tried gparted fat16 and fat32 😭.

What am I missing ?

I've spent a while getting to the bottom of this and the only solution I can come up with is this..
1. Format the stick in 98. This by itself sometimes just works but for some sticks I have they show as 128mb in DOS.
2. Reformat in DOS. ( Might still show as 128mb)
3. Put into a Linux distro "gparted" and delete 128mb format whole drive fat32.
4. Insert to DOS system and should show as full size.
If all else fails check partition table type it could just be the sticks I have?

Beware, though, newer versions of gparted (v0.9.0 and up) have limited FAT32 support. 🙁
