Dosbox is intended as a dos environment simulator.
So no, it does not run Win9X. If you would prefer a more complete x86 environment, look up BOCHS .. of course, the price of compatibility is speed, and BOCHS takes about 3 hours to several days to start Windows.
There is also the commercial equivalents, VMWARE, Virtual PC etc. which
offer speed, but cost compatibility, so anything unusual crashes them.

Huh - I can start Win95 as a guest OS in 30 seconds w. Bochs 2.1 hosted on WinXP.

Hello, I also have Magic:The Gathering and I found a patch that will get it to run on Windows XP, and it runs perfect. If you can get it to install then this patch will fix all your troubles. It even upgrades you with the Spells of the Ancients Expansion. I have the second version Magic the Gathering:
Duels of The PlanesWalkers. But I think they have a patch for both the original and the one I have.
Anyway here is the link to the site:

I would suggest saving it and storing it somewhere, like a CD-R.
Also you can play TCP-IP games too.

Hope this Helps, Enjoy!!!!
