... for Vista x64 users and whoever else needs it.

Be my guest and grab it from http://www.markusegger.at/.

XWA uses 16-bit InstallShield technology - no chances under Vista x64 (there's no 16-bit subsystem any longer). Only way out was to "reverse engineer" the setup process using a Windows XP workstation and create a new, Standards-compliant, state-of-the-art MSI setup from scratch (using the free Microsoft WiX toolkit).

Tested under Vista Ultimate x64 and Windows XP Pro SP2 - so hopefully there shouldn't be any issues left. Let me know if it works for you.

Regards,

Markus

Oh, you mean I should rummage around my LucasArts collection and make more installers 😁

Gladly, many old titles are already covered by ScummVM and DOSBox (the adventures, DOS games like X-Wing/TIE-Fighter + CD editions).

Ahhh, valuable input. Thank you!

Outlaws? --> don't have it
Droidworks? --> don't have it
Jedi Knight? --> have it (and loved it 😁)
Racer? --> have it (not even completed yet 🙁)

So chances are, as time allows, that there might be JK & Racer installers in the future. I just hope the game files are not in some fucked-up CAB format - everything being plain on disk makes things relatively easy.
