Betrayal in Antara hangs when i attmept to enter the shop in Teal.

As title says. The entire program hangs when i try to enter the shop in Teal. I cant close it with task manager, so i can only do a manual reboot.

Event viewer however shows error 1000 "Faulting application antarar.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module antarar.exe, version 1.0.0.1, fault address 0x00067382."

Helpfile/readme doesnt say anything about this problem(honestly havent seen one that does have a problem that i encountered).

Anyone have any idea why the .exe is hanging? I have the game patched to 1.10(latest).

Are you running the game in Windows XP? If so, this game has mucho problems with faster processors. Even though the game will run for a while and seem to be okay (your mileage will vary), everyone I know has experienced crashes like these. And, did you try to run the game in 98/ME compatibility mode?

Some people have had a tolerable level of success running the game with a slowdown program. Also, make sure your screen resolution is set to 640 x 480.
