They're probably just not working on it heavily. I thought that beta 3 was the end, honestly.

Anyway, beta 3 was a nice bit of work. I'm a fan of the BZ games. I installed BZ2 a few weeks back to play again. Really wish we could get a new game, but apparently these don't sell.

This is kinda OT, but is there any Battlezone 1 patch to play in higher resolutions than 640*480?

You would want to make sure that you have updated to the latest official patch (bzpat14.exe) and have applied the large_assets.zip patch. I believe the readme file in one of those two patches indicates what changes you have to make to get the higher resolutions.
