I've created patches for these games that fix an offending API call and allow the games to run. I haven't tested them terribly extensively, but they seem alright. WC3 is kind of unstable in general, it seems, and I have yet to get my joystick to work in WC4, which isn't the fault of my patches. YMMV.

Anyway, you can go here (http://home.amis.net/lkslavi/) to get them for now. This page also includes a way to get WC4 DVD version to actually play without the original DVD decoder hardware it came with.
