I once asked for help on this same issue years ago, but I have a new machine now, and the solution I was given back then doesn't seem to work anymore.

I'm basically trying to run Snow Wave Avalanche/Snowboard Racer/Tech Deck Snowboarding (it's the same game with minor cosmetic changes here and there, mine is the original Hammer Technologies version), but I get no CD audio or sound effects. There's no issues with the executable in Windows 10 or graphic issues, as dgVoodoo takes care of that.

I'm trying to run it from a mounted virtual drive (Daemon Tools Lite, latest version), set to D: (because I have no optical drive on my machine).

The lack of CD audio isn't much of a problem since I can rip the music from the CD and play it separately, but I'd really like to get the sound effects going.

Any advice you can give me will be most helpful, and thank you very much in advance!
