Great find, thanks! I successfully updated the game to 1.3.

The 1.3 -> 1.6 patch from patches-scrolls removes the extra sound effects from the 1.2 patch again. In my case 1.2 had all I needed (Voodoo2 support), so I'm happy, but still no 'complete set'.

The 1.0 -> 1.06 patches from patches scrolls would have been fine, but the executables seem to be damaged in some way, at least they just won't execute for me, in either Win98 or Win7.
