Hey, hoping someone here may be able to help me. I've been looking for the 2.0 patch for the original release of RE2 for a while now. This patch adds EAX support and I really wanna test that out. I'm not sure if anyone maybe has the files or perhaps knows of where they may still be hosted. I even spent time on the way back machine on capcoms official site but can't seem to find where they store patches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in locating the patch, thanks!

Dose this Patch also add more gpu compatibility.

I believe that those patches were only meant to be used in the Japanese version.

Latest for Windows was the 1.1.0.

Even if that is the case I still want to try it, I know RE2 well enough to beat it without being able to read anything anyways.

that's not the 2.0 patch for the game but the version for Creative Alchemy, a software to restore EAX in older game (you must have a Creative Soundblaster sound/audio card).

Could ya cite some sources to back that up? Because looking at the official RE2 PC page it's clear the patch is for RE2 itself, admittedly that page is poorly translated but it's still clear.
