Hi,
I can't play commander keen 4 on my computer if I run the game from Windows 95 or 98 FE.

Everything works fine instead if I run it from DOS by restarting Windows in the appropriate mode

PC:
-Pentium MMX 233
-64MB
-Cirrus 5446 1mb+1mb
-Voodoo 2

Any ideas? It is convenient for me to run it from Windows as I can use my Sidewinder gamepad

Mess with the settings in the properties on the EXE file.

Alternatively it might be a monitor problem. Sometimes LCDs have issues with this type of thing.

Keen uses EGA's dual-page mode as a form of double-buffering.
It displays one finished page while simultaneously drawing into the other.
Maybe that's why Windows has trouble with it, not sure. 🤷‍♂️
