I've been playing Rowan's Mig Alley in Windows 11 for several months now. All of a sudden the keyboard 5 key does not work during the flight simulation. I've narrowed the problem down to the settings.mig file that is saved in the SaveGame folder. If I delete this file, it is recreated when the game starts, and the 5 key works -- until I quit and start the game again. Since I have a throttle I don't need 5 for that purpose, but it is necessary for radio messages.

I'm not sure what is different, but I did recently start a campaign whereas before I was just flying Quick Missions. I'm not sure if that is the cause or not -- I don't see any way set options for the campaign mode.

Any one have this problem? Any idea what is stored in the settings.mig file? It's not a text file -- know how to edit it? Any suggestions? I would prefer not to have to delete the file before every session.

Thanks!

I know this is an old topic but in case anyone has similar issues...

I take it the BDG v0.85F patch is installed? If so you could try grabbing the BDG Keyboard Manager from this message:

Once unzipped into the MiG Alley keyboard folder, you should be able to fire it up and reset to the original mappings or assign the 5 key as needed. Hope it helps.
