Hello. There's no official Windows XP drivers for AMD RX 500 Series GPUs. Only for Windows 7 and up, last I checked.
Out of casuality, any chance I can get such a GPU to work?
I think if the GPU is just a rebadged GCN 1.0 chip of some sort then theres a chance it might work.

nope, such series are from 2017 or so > AMD discontinued xp drivers since 2012 aprox
the latest and fastest gfx cards that can be used in winxp are the geforce 900 series (maxwell) also are the latest ones that have analogic VGA connection
The best AMD card for winxp is probably HD 7970. (please correct me if I'm wrong.) Its performance is close to a GTX 960.
The latest AMD card for winxp might be R9 270X, which is just a rebranded HD 7870.
nVidia website only provides winxp drivers for 950 & 960 of 900 series. So fastest nvidia card for winxp would be GTX 780ti/Titan/Titan Black (?).

NOPE ,the fastest winxp gfx card is the titan X (maxwell)
also there are winxp drivers for the 970, 980 and 980 ti (version 341.11)

There is the INF trick for the higher end variants of the GeForce 900 series (and GTX Titan X) that makes them able to work with those Windows XP drivers.
