Hi everybody,

I'm on QEMU, with vmware card as "vga" but i've already this problem with a "cirrus" as "video card".
I can't remember if i resolved this bug last time i installed windows 98. Last time i used it, it was in first months of 2022 for a projet, i didn't have time to continue since there is few days and i can't remember where i stocked the version i used to continue my worK

I had this problem on TCG with 7.2.0+ qemu... with virtualization it worked ok. Try running it on 6.2.0 just to see how it behaves (the hdd image should work on older qemu without reinstall)

This was fixed a couple of days ago. 8.2.0 tarball unfortunately was before the fix, the latest compiled binary on qemu.org is still buggy.
