I have a strange memory problem. On my IBM 330 with 160MB of RAM, when I start the PC, Cacheman tells me that I have 100MB of free RAM, the problem is that without doing anything, over time the RAM drops to 25MB of free RAM and no longer empties going up you have 100mb of free ram. How come. I reinstalled Windows and the problem remains. Depends on what?
With windows 95 and windows ME this does not happen.
I tried using the TuneUp 2003 program which has a tool to free up memory. But it fails, the memory remains full. The tool works great under Windows 95 and ME.

Even during normal use, when programs are started, the RAM is used, but if I close the various programs, the RAM does not empty.

Doesn't Cacheman fiddle around with custom disk cache and file cache sizes?
Maybe this 3rd party tool itself is the issue by reserving too much cache in system memory?

These kind of tools will always make you feel miserable.
