I'm trying to run Gabriel Knight 1 on a WinXP computer. The game works perfectly, except for the fact that I cannot save or load (which seems to be a known issue).

I tried the XP Installer already, but it refuses to recognise the GK1 disc in my drive. Is this because I run the CD on a Virtual drive and if so, how do I fix it?
I don't have access to my real CDROM atm...

Help appreciated!
