I have a IBM PS/2 model 80 set up in 86box with a 486DX-33 and 8 MB of ram, I have it all setup with it's reference disk and I have installed MS-DOS and a couple of applications on it, it seems to be working fine.
The problem comes when I try to install an XGA adapter in it. I have the option disk for the XGA adapter, so I copied the .adf file to the reference disk, and I booted to the reference disk. It asks if i changed anything, which i did, and run the automatic configuration tool.

When I run it however, this error pops up :

So I pressed enter to reboot, and check where the conflict is. Turns out, it's in the "ROM address range"

It says "No Resources Allocated", and I cannot change it to anything else pressing the F5 and F6 button. I have tried changing every other setting on the built in feature section and on every other MCA hardware I have (which is only a SCSI drive controller), but I still cannot change the "ROM address range" option to anything other than "No Resources Allocation"

Pressing F1 for help puts this up, which leads me to believe that there should be something here since it's the only XGA card installed here.

Another weird quirk is that when trying the "Test the computer" option in the reference disk, the program freezes.

I am totally confused on how to fix this since searching for this on the web gives zero results regarding this topic at all.
Can any IBM PS/2 experts help? Thanks.
