Then you need an older windows but NOT DOSBox.
You could install Windows 3.1 in DOSBox, then install your software. A thread about installing Windows 3.1 with SVGA resolutions is somewhere in the site.

I think you have to install window 3.1 but problem may be for old DOS software.
