Have just got my hands on a Gravis Ultrasound (the classic version) and a Gravis Ultrasound Ace but it's a pain to find the install disks nowdays which I won't get with these cards 🙁
Does anyone still have the install disks that was once on the Gravis FTP server and can share them with me?

Is it a question of not being able to see the FTP server?:

ftp://ftp.gravis.com/Public/Sound/Drivers/GUS&Max/

ftp://ftp.gravis.com/Public/Sound/Drivers/Ace

I'll be damned! 😁

Thanks, I googled like hell and got some hints about an FTP on the Gravis website but their site seem to be long gone

Edit: seems like these files are mostly upgrades and you must have the original disks

This is from a readme on the FTP:

Advanced Gravis Computer Technology Ltd.

=============================================================================
GUS411.ZIP is an upgrade from 3.5x to 4.11. This upgrade requires the patch
set from your original install disks. If your original install version is
not version 3.5 or better, you need the 6 files listed as GUS411A.ZIP through
GUS411F.ZIP which is a full install set including patches.

This file does not contain MIDI instrument patches which are required.

I'm willing to pay for a set of copies if someone could be so kind and take copies of their disks and and mail them

I think here is also the original installation disks:
http://ftp.cvut.cz/local/drivers/sound/ultra/

I couldn't see anything behind the link sent earlier... (perhaps some font missing etc.)
